01Product description
Whale Eggshell Matt Enamel gives walls and ceilings a soft, elegant eggshell matt finish with the toughness of an enamel. Everyday stains wipe away easily, the anti-fungal film keeps damp-prone rooms fresh, and the low-odour, quick-drying formula gets rooms back in use sooner. Ultra-durable and flexible, it is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, corridors and busy family spaces.

Typical values at 25°C and 50% relative humidity. Practical coverage depends on surface texture, porosity and application method.
05How to apply
Surface preparation
- Surface must be clean, dry and sound, free of dust, grease, loose paint and efflorescence.
- New plaster should cure for at least 28 days before painting.
- Fill cracks and dents with wall putty, allow to dry and sand smooth.
- Apply one coat of Whale Wall Primer Sealer on new or porous surfaces.
- Lightly sand old glossy paint for good adhesion.
Application
- Stir thoroughly before use.
- Thin with mineral turpentine only if needed, up to 10%.
- Apply thin, even coats by brush, roller or spray.
- Allow 12 – 16 hours between coats.
- Keep the room ventilated while painting and drying.
- Clean tools with mineral turpentine.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from heat, sparks and open flame, with the lid tightly closed. Flammable — do not smoke while painting. Avoid inhaling vapour; use in ventilated areas. Keep out of reach of children.
