Whale Eggshell Matt Enamel gives walls and ceilings a soft, elegant eggshell matt finish with the toughness of an enamel. How to apply

For the best finish.

1 · Prepare the surface

  1. Surface must be clean, dry and sound, free of dust, grease, loose paint and efflorescence.
  2. New plaster should cure for at least 28 days before painting.
  3. Fill cracks and dents with wall putty, allow to dry and sand smooth.
  4. Apply one coat of Whale Wall Primer Sealer on new or porous surfaces.
  5. Lightly sand old glossy paint for good adhesion.

2 · Apply

  1. Stir thoroughly before use.
  2. Thin with mineral turpentine only if needed, up to 10%.
  3. Apply thin, even coats by brush, roller or spray.
  4. Allow 12 – 16 hours between coats.
  5. Keep the room ventilated while painting and drying.
  6. Clean tools with mineral turpentine.
  • Flammable — no naked flames
  • Ventilate well while painting
  • Avoid skin contact
  • Keep away from children

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from heat, sparks and open flame, with the lid tightly closed. Flammable — do not smoke while painting. Avoid inhaling vapour; use in ventilated areas. Keep out of reach of children.
